Frequently Asked Questions

How should I hang my glass art?

Definitely do NOT use a suction cup. Those suckers fail all the time. I recommend a command hook for windows.

How do I clean stained glass?

To keep solder shiny, use either Pledge or ceramic car wax and buff in with a microfiber cloth. Be gentle especially if there is vinyl wording added to your art. Check out this TikTok video!

How do you charge for your artwork?

If you want a custom commissioned piece where I have to draw up the art, I charge a custom art fee up front. This fee is dependent on the difficulty of the request and separate from the final price of the stained glass piece itself. Once the art is paid for and approved, I use a formula based on the size and number of pieces in the art work. I work very hard to work within your budget so if you have an idea, let’s work together!

Solder has lead in it?

Yes, but don’t freak out! The solder I use is 60/40 solder. This means 60% of the solder composition contains tin, and 40% is lead. I definitely wouldn’t lick your stained glass art or eat off of it because that’s just weird. Wash your hands after handling and you’ll be fine!

I like a piece you have listed but I want to change some colors. Can you do that?

Sure! just hit the link in the listing that say “custom requests accepted” or message me on FB by hitting the FB icon on the top right of the homepage.
